Upon examination of all the evidence, today we are able to seek justice on behalf of the victim.” But why re-open the case?   Cosby admitted to giving quaaludes, a sedative and hypnotic medication, to women he wanted to have sex with. Cosby has previously said what happened between him and Constand was consensual, but in more recent court filings Constand said it was not consensual, and that she was in a relationship with another woman at the time. After dropping passengers in Selma, she and 19 years old Leroy Moton headed back to Montgomery. Liuzzo stopped at a red light, and a car with four white men pulled up alongside her. They saw a white woman and a black man in a car together. Because of segregation blacks and whites in the South did not share public facilities and race mixing often led to violence. These men belonged to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), a group that supported the continuation of segregation. They followed Liuzzo, who tried to outrun them. They caught up with her car and opened fire. She was shot in the head and died in Lowndesboro, Alabama on March 25, 1965. On May 3, 1965, the trial of Liuzzo’s killers began. One of the men in the car, Gary Thomas Rowe, Jr., was an FBI informant and thus was protected by the FBI. The three others were indicted on a state charge of murder and a federal charge of civil rights violation. The all-white jury could not come to a decision and a mistrial was declared. The second trial began in October. The defense attorney attacked the credibility of the informant, Rowe, stating that he fabricated information. The men were found not guilty of murder. In the federal trial the defendants were found guilty of conspiracy to violate the civil rights of Liuzzo and were sentenced to ten years in prison, a landmark in southern legal history." According to a report by WGRZ TV: "The proposal would allow a program to be established along the most heavily impacted streets, including sections of Maple, Mulberry, Locust, Carlton and High streets. Residents would be issued permits to park and 20 percent of the spaces would still be available for non-residential parking. Two On Your Side has obtained a document showing that CSEA does not support a permit program because employees have limited places to park. Currently, 3,100 employees work at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and only 1,600 spaces are available. Cariol Jean Horne’s actions on 11/1/06 on intervening in the choking of a black man, Neal Mack by Buffalo Police Officer Greg Kwiatkowski probably saved Mack from being Eric Garner before the Eric Garner incident. Kwiatkowski-like Daniel Pantaleo and Loehmann-had a track record of anger and attitude issues that should have got him ousted from the force long ago, instead it was Officer Horne who had since been fired for her possibly-life-saving efforts. She openly admits she would do the same thing over again were the situation to re-present itself. Horne is black, Kwiatkowski is white. Even during a time when Horne underwent a disciplinary hearing, he continued to force similar situations upon members of the public and his fellow officers. While Kwiatkowski continued to break laws, the Buffalo Police Department still appeared obsessed with trying to teach Horne a lesson for breaking policy. He was rewarded with a promotion to Lieutenant just before her firing. Memphis, Tenn. mother Maggie Rhodes is now regretting taking her son Ashton to the Christ Community Health Center in August to get circumcised. “After I went home and I discovered that my son’s was not there, I immediately froze, like, oh my God,” Rhode told My Fox Memphis. Rhodes said she was told the procedure would only take 20 minutes but was left waiting for hours as she heard her baby scream throughout the entire procedure. “It took them about three hours to do the circumcision and so my baby screamed the whole three hours, like the whole process,” Rhodes said. “Then even when she gave him back to us, he was still screaming.” Rhodes said she was not notified of the botched procedure, instead she and her sister made the shocking discovery at home when Ashton was still screaming and they saw his diaper filled with blood. “When she pulled back the cloth, like the thing was like, gone. She cut up instead of down, instead of cutting around the top of the ,” Rhodes was quoted. Ms. Rhodes will be on the show today to dicuss this disturbing story with Chris. She would become a Missionary for them at 16, and eventually marry Joe Anderson a few years later. In 1982 she began serving at their coverted headquarters of the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, also known by many as Brooklyn Bethel. No small feat considering the low number of women serving there. She would eventaully rise to the ranks of top researcher/writer under Karl Adams; Writing Department Overseer and former Gilead School (JW Missionary training school) instructor. Anderson authored many of the Awake articles and some publications printed and published there. She was a member of the writing staff (they were dubbed the "Faithful and Discreet Slave" by their own Governing Body), a powerful ruling body in their own right that all but claims divinity among their worldwide membership. It was in that position that she inadvertantly ran into trouble while doing some reseach under the orders of Adams, she stumbled onto a database which concealed tens of thousands of unreported child-molestation cases within the various Kingdom Hall congregations around the world. Cases the JW Governing Body knew about, but refused to report to the authorities (Which created what Stevenson dubs religiously sanctioned molestation or RSM). What would she do?
