Johanna Fernandez is a Professor of African History at Baruch College and a visiting professor at Trinity College. She is a graduate of two Ivy League schools, Brown and Columbia, with her doctorate coming from Columbia. She has been a member of political prisoner Mumia abu-Jamal's legal team for several years now and is the producer of the documentary film "Justice on Trial."

We discuss 2 Freedom Fighters. She will be our day-after Christmas guest as she informs us of the latest information regarding Mumia, and her thoughts on the late-Nelson Mandela.
