Inspired by Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity Worldwide by Nicholas D. Kristof and Sheryl Wudunn, Melissa A. Rosati, founder and host, interviews guests who are passionate in their belief that writing and the arts transform oppression into knowledge, freedom, and a sustainable world. The show takes its name in honor of Women’s History month. Listeners are encouraged to call the show with questions and comments at 626-414-3577.
