Rita Marie Recine is a first-generation Canadian poet living with her family in Laval, Quebec. Her parents originated from Italy beginning a new found life in Canada on December 6th, 1963. She has 4 siblings one of which is her twin. Script has been an integral part of her life for as long as she can remember.
She graduated from Concordia University, majoring in Spanish in addition to earning a tourism degree.
Her writing style leans toward imagery and impressionism. Her work has been published in various anthologies, as well as in forums such as Poetry Pasta, The song Is, and All Poetry.
In 2017 she released Open Book: Where the Road to Serendipity Ends. The book was published by Crystal Gauthier of Southern Owl Publications.
