This Thursday, March 8, 2018, the guys welcome a man into the studio who is one of the truly colorful personalities that make weekly local tracks special. Joe Kriss attended his first race at age 3 with his mom. He seemed to have more of a fascination with what was going on in the flag stand than on the track. When Joe's mom sewed his first set of flags for him to bring to the track, little did she know that she was sending seven-year-old Joe on a career path that continues to this day. While Joe's first vantage point was the bleachers, he soon caught the eye of promoters at Fonda, Dodge City Speedway and, of course, Glen Ridge Motorsports Park.In addition, while most flagmen put the "silks" away in winter, Joe flags for the Adirondack Motor Enthusiast's Club (AMEC) on the ice.
