Far too many people act like zombies, asleep to the world around them. As leaders, we must be present in the universe. Otherwise, how are we to take advantage of the many golden opportunities in life?

In storybooks, golden opportunities are presented by fairy godmothers, genies, and wishing upon shooting stars. These are great for children’s bedtime stories, but I wouldn’t recommend them as a business or life strategy.
