A Day in the Life of Local Author Ellen Butler

Author Ellen Butler has lived in the Northern Virginia area for thirty years. Originally living inside the beltway, she moved to Prince William County ten years ago, in an effort to flee traffic congestion. Unfortunately, the traffic followed her down here, but the community keeps her family firmly rooted in PWC. She has a Master’s in Public Administration and Policy and her history includes a long list of writing and editing for dry but illuminating professional newsletters and journals, and windy papers on public policy and political science.

The leap to novel writing is simply a creative outlet for her over active and romantic imagination to run wild. Her genre is Women’s Fiction and Romance and Ellen is currently promoting her newest novel Poplar Place, a fiction novel with suspense, romance, and a dash of paranormal. Ellen is currently scheduling book club appearances for fall 2014 and spring 2015. Book club questions for Ellen’s novels can be found on her website.
