There is a high possibility that even if you don’t have kids that are or have been involved in youth soccer, you know someone that has. Parents have their child play soccer for the fitness, hopes of a college scholarship or just for the love of the game. Abdul Thompson Conteh, President of Conteh Soccer Academy, has seen the good, bad and ugly when it comes to youth sports. He has been directly involved as a coach and trainer since his retirement from professional sports. With having played mostly internationally, he has a unique ability to compare youth sports in the U.S. vs. other countries.
