Who Is Fooling Who. Are You Fooling Yourself?
This a very interesting question that I think more people should ask themselves. I have been involved in a few groups some large some small. Many people believe that they can do more in a larger group then they can in a smaller group. Well that question depends on the group you choose to be a part of in the end.
I found that many smaller groups do more then the larger groups in many cases. In short just like in life you get out of a thing what you put into that thing or activity.
So to all you people who are doing a lot of nothing who is fooling who. What is your organization about? What is your groups goal? What is your goal? If you are going to be a part of something then somethings other then wasting time should be done. Meeting just to meet are useless and meaningless.
If you are going to drive for a trip. Just drive and take a trip. Stop lieing to yourself and me. News flash you do not need to be in a group to take a trip or get together. If you are not active in something of value that is fine but please stop lieing to yourself. Membership of something meaning less is nothing to be proud of no manner what you call yourself or group.
You are also disrepecting the people who you claim to be honoring. Step up or step out. Question are you a fake member of the team? Do you have a propose? What are you giving back?
The next time you are seating in a meeting ask yourself some questions and really think about it.
Why are am I here? What do I contribute? What have I done lately for the group, cause and community?
