Unknown History of the Martial Arts Part 2 – W/ Terryl Richardson

Today we will have the pleasure to speak with a Martial Arts Historian.  Welcome Grand Master Terryl D. Richardson to the Zurriane Show.  This young man has been a devout member of the Martial Arts community for more than 38 years.  He is now writing on power book on the history of the martial arts that is not only based on fact but will bring out items that have never been air before.  He will share things that will enlighten many. If you missed our first show part one please feel free to go back and listen to that original show.

He was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the worst part of D.C. by a single strong mother with no father around. But I was fortunate enough to have been blessed with nine uncles and most of them where into boxing.

Out of that nine he had one uncle, Harlan Marbley, who was on the all Army boxing team and went on to represent the United States at the 1968 Olympics boxing team with George Forman.  He uncle won a bronze medal and he started training me how to box after he came back from the Olympics.  He had such a passion for combat!

He will also be showing a Martial Arts event with Chief Professor Al Wood, and Professor  Lusk Penn, The event is A Sanuces Eye-To-Eye jiujitsu Seminar.  Event date is September 3, 2011.
