"Facebook or His Face - the times demand vigilance spiritually"

Well, this is a needful but not necessarily pleasant subject.  I got a tweet in last night from Joel Rosenberg that Christians spend more time with Facebook than with their Bibles.  Ouch!!!!

Don't get defensive.  Let's take a look at this.  You may not be a social media person at all, but you may have your other temptations.  We were looking at the parable for the sower the last few programs, especially the explanation of the first type of ground:  the wayside.  The birds of the air came immediately and ate up the seed sown on it.

Jesus said this was the heart of a person, who hears the Word, doesn't understand it, and for that reason Satan immediately steals the Word from them.

Stealing, that is one of Satan's main employments.  Facebook may be his latest attempt to steal believers time with God, but he is using many other things, and devising some new ones.
