"Grace AND Truth....what's the story?"

Pastor Doug Bowers, of Lifepointe Church of God here in Lincoln, IL and a Facebook friend had a stirring posting a few days ago.  I had to contact him right away about coming on the Zoe Radio Network.  Some of his remarks that caught my attention: 

"While praying this morning and meditating on the Word of God the Holy Spirit drew me to John1 :14, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, ( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth.

I struggle with Churches that allow the culture to define who they are in order to attract numbers or whatever else might be the reason, wondering why or how it could happen! Then it came to me that so many preachers today are preaching heavy on grace but not on truth, or on truth and not about grace."
