John Alexander Dowie, father of the modern healing movement

I would like to share with you on this broadcast HOW this father of the modern healing movement entered the healing ministry himself.  I have read this story many times and it never stops moving me mightily.  If you are hungry for the supernatural and seeing people healing through the power of God, you too will be moved mightily.  Dr. Dowie as he came to be called, had no teacher but the Holy Spirit.  Divine Healing was not practiced, preached or advocated in the Congregational denomination of which he was a part as a pastor.  The plague took 48 members of his congregation before, at the cry of his heart for his dying people, the Holy Spirit caused Acts 10:38 to be revealed to him.....'standing before me in glorious light', in his own words.  Tune in to hear the entire account as I share it with you.
