If you've done any research at all on the treatment of nail fungus you'd realise that there are many many different treatment methods available to treat nail fungus. Briefly looking into home remedies, prescription treatments, and topical treatments, there exists well over 50 different types of treatment! Unfortunately 95% of these are ineffective at ever even getting close to eliminating nail fungus.
Folk remedies (or home remedies) are one of the most ineffective treatment methods. These remedies include vinegar soaks, beer soaks, homebrewed ointments. People who attempt home remedies are successful at treating their fungus less than 10% of the time. There are many reasons why these remedies don't work including ingredients that fail to reach the fungus source or don't really eliminate fungus in the first place.
