Dr Robert Sakulanda MD is a board certified family physician,and hospitalist with more than 19 years experience. He graduated from the University of Zambia (UNZA)School of Medicine in 1995 and also holds an MBA in Finance & Accounting. He is the president & CEO of Entire Family Medical Center based in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also the founder of Help & Embrace Zambia a multifaceted group providing help and services in medical missions in Africa particularly in Zambia.
Dr Sakulanda joins us on PERSPECTIVES to discuss and share information on the recent EBOLA outbreak in West Africa. He will discuss the background and characteristics of the Ebola virus and how it is managed. How does this affect the African countries and what collaboration efforts if any are ongoing among African governments? Considering that this is not the first EBOLA outbreak, what research has been done since the last outbreak?
