Born in Sidi Kacem Morocco, Najat Anwar received a Master degree in Islamic Law from the historical University of Fez. Even though Mrs. Anwar was enjoying a successful career in Business, her life would be suddenly and forever altered. In 2003, a shameful scandal erupted in Morocco taking the entire country by storm. Sadly, two young children were identified as victims of dreadful sexual abuses by a child molester. To add insult to injury, the pedophile who was found guilty of these heinous crimes only served a two years sentence. Filled with disgust and outrage, Najat Anwar realized then that in order to protect the children of Morocco, a critical fight against pedophilia, child sexual abuse, incest, and sex tourism had to be undertaken. Consequently, Najat Anwar eagerly founded in 2004 "Touche Pas Á Mon Enfant" or "Hands Off My Child", a non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against pedophilia, and child molestation. "Hands Of My Child" provides medical, psychological, and legal support to not only children who have suffered from such shameful cruelties, but to their parents as well. By the same token, Najat Anwar is presently advocating the complete reassessment and drastic revision of the far too lenient Moroccan laws regarding pedophilia and child abuse. Thanks to this courageous and heroic woman, the taboo around child sexual abuse and pedophilia in Morocco has been broken. Najat Anwar continues to dedicate her entire life to the protection of children, by promoting both their safety and human rights. Founder and president of "Touche Pas Á Mon Enfant", Najat Anwar remains committed to raise the level of public awareness regarding pedophilia and its negative effects on children today. Proud mother of three, Mrs. Anwar strongly militates for the establishment of adequate sentences against pedophiles and sex offenders.
