Host Twaambo Kapilikisha speaks to Mr Mathew Grollnek, who attended Davos 2014 from Zambia.
Matthew loves innovation and Africa. Though originally from the United States, he is currently focused on pulling together and housing a community of high-growth entrepreneurs in Lusaka to promote Zambian-owned businesses and to encourage investment through his company Startup Junction. Matthew is also the Curator of the Lusaka Global Shapers, a community within the World Economic Forum which executes projects to improve their city. He was recently the only person coming from Zambia to attend their Annual Meeting in Davos. In the past he has worked at the intersection of entrepreneurship and education in Africa with the Peace Corps, US State Department, Stanford Business School and Business Development Services.
