Musaba Deodatus Chailunga is an Entrepreneur and software developer for a leading Health and Financial Services provider in Canada. His job involves designing and developing critical mission applications. He found his problem solving skills in software development transferable to a lot of things. A student of history coupled with a broad interest and participation in the financial and real estate markets in Canada has made him an admirer and supporter of free market economics.
Musaba is also President of Zambia Diaspora Connect, an organization that has advocated for the involvement of the Zambian diaspora in Zambia’s development. He joins us to discuss the his recently published book; Object Oriented Development in Africa. Musaba argues that despite the effects of the credit crunch, free enterprise remains Africa’s best chance to getting out of poverty and not Aid.
