This coming weekend on 'Diasporan Truth', host Mukuka Mayuka chats with Kuda Biza, C-founder and Chief Donor behind the social enterprise company AFR Clothing. AFR clothing uses fashion to change lives. With each purchase of AFR Clothing apparel, they donate at least 20% of the proceeds to the Amani Hope Scholarship. The Amani Hope Scholarship is awarded to students in need (usually orphans/vulnerable children) and it covers their entire tuition fees. So far they have 7 Amani Hope Scholars (5 in Tanzania, 1 in Ghana and 1 in Zimbabwe).

Their vision is to educate children in every AFRican country by 2020. AFR Clothing also has a brand ambassador program which was created in order to build awareness of the work AFR Clothing is doing in AFRica through individuals with positive social influence such as musicians, athletes, and well-known individuals.
