Gail Carroll is a member of  The Cary-Mufulira Community Partnership Trust (CMCPT) executive which was established to build durable links between schools in Zambia and UK communities could learn from each other has been their ethos. This organization with its counterpart called the Mufulira Cary Community Partnership Trust (MCCMPT) have embarked on programs to improve the educational standards of Mufulira in schools which include; Mufulira High School, Mano Basic, Muleya Winter Basic and many more which all do their best to provide an education that will satisfy the demands of a growing middle class.

Gail works as a Teaching Assistant at Burton Primary school which has very strong links with Mine Basic School in Kankoyo. She currently leads her school’s Zambia Linking Team and has been to Mufulira 3 times over the past few years and has taken her own children. She joins us on Perspective to discuss the unique relationship between the two communities and organizations.
