We will be talking to Mr. Takunda Denya based in South Africa , he is a 31 year old man, with a below knee left leg amputation due accident and currently a junior bookkeeper for a fund management company in Johannesburg South Africa.
MR. Denya is initially from Zimbabwe but currently residing & working in South Africa. He will be sharing with us on the challenges Disabled have faced in Zimbabwe in past decades since the political malaise that erupted. The Disabled were one of the most affected considering the withdrawal of International aid by donor Organizations. Mr. Denya will walk us through realities of Disabled desperation and suffering in Zimbabwe.
Mr. Denya says it is very challenging to live in Zimbabwe as a disabled due to an imaginable political problem that rocked Zimbabwe as a country in the past decade. He will share why it is difficult for international Organization to work in Zimbabwe.
On other hand Ms. Mary from Uganda and the Director of Uganda Disabled Women Association , our coordinating pattern in East Africa will also be joining us to continue to share the problem of disabled face to find work in Uganda, we will compare with situation in Zambia , and Humphrey from Zambia who will be giving his experience Disabled in Zambia.
