Popular Florida Author Yvonne Mason Has Done It Again A Five Star Review for Brilliant Insanity

Popular Florida Author Yvonne Mason has done it again. Her newest Serial Killer Louis Reinhart in "Brilliant Insanity" - has hit the stores and is getting five star reviews

    Brilliant Insanity

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jul 25, 2008 – Popular Florida author Yvonne Mason author of "Stan's Story, A Touch of Love" and "Tangled Minds" has done it again. Her newest release "Brilliant Insanity"by Triad Publishing Group is now available.

Ms. Mason takes the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions as she weaves the tale of Louis Reinhart a serial killer on death row who has five days to live. Reinhart has been allowed to tell his story to the Fort Pierce Sentinel. He wants the world to know that the murders of eight women was justified and that he was the victim.

Ms. Mason weaves not only the insanity of Louis Reinhart but his brilliance as well, as he tells his story to cub reporter Mandy McQuaid who is on her first big assignment.
Mandy has her own issues as she struggles to not only conduct the interview, but to also come to terms with her own demons. Reinhart being the person he is, sees this in Mandy and uses it to his advantage.

Ms Mason  puts the reader inside Reinharts mind. She shows how psychotic killers have the ability to play mind games as well as manipulate their victims and those they come in contact with.

Author Debora Simpson author of "Chronicles of a Sage: Spiritual Revelations via Canto" says: ""Brilliant Insanity" is an unprecedented voyage through the demented mind of mass murderer, Marion Lewis Reinhart. Who is Reinhart? What is Reinhart?

Yvonne Mason draws you into a world of suspense and harrowing sadism interjecting lucid illustrations and stark, chilling portrayals. However, Mason leaves no stone unturned as she delicately weaves in the budding romance between Mandy and Allen. With her book, "Brilliant Insanity," Mason has proved herself to be an indelible author.

The Odd Mind and the Birth of a new Poem

This evening on The Odd Mind a wonderful poet by the name of Christopher W Herbert from New Zealand was in the chat room while an author was being interviewed. As Christopher was listening to the interview he penned this poem.
It is very poignant and perfect for the times we live in.
go to his web site   www.myspace.com/christopherwherbert  and check out more of this man's wonderful work - trust me one is not enough.

To write, to weep, the poem,
    the secret, happiness to keep
As if race and love was a bilingual call,
the longer we live, the deeper we fall

Because that was how hope began,
the man the woman, sheep and lamb
Seeking fate, and a touch of kind,
alone and awake, but together on hand

    Where tomorrow and yesterday merge,
the shadow of sunshine no longer grey
    Truth and freedom, enamel glossed,
the glass of liberty to sight and view

While the old air is released,
    fresh in evidence of breath
The right to be in love, happiness,
    no longer the secret kept

    What A Show

I have to tell you all, if you missed last nights open mic night on www.blogtalkradio.com/angellesa, you missed one of the funniest shows ever.
The entire hour and a half covered everything from Granny panties to the white flakes on men's eyebrows. And all points inbetween. We even had a lively conversation about avacodos and chocolate syrup. I know- but  my lips are sealed you have to listen to the show.
We discussed, publishing, editing, bounty hunting, bonding companies, you name it. It was a night of eclectic adventures. Lesa laughed until she almost cried.
I even pulled a rabbit out of the hat and gave the listening audience a taste of my new novel Brilliant Insanity which is due to be released next week. I read the first chapter and one could hear a pin drop.
I thought maybe I had put the audience sound to sleep, turns out they were listening with their mouths agape- They wanted more- but they will have to wait for the book
You can still hear the show in archive and post your comments we would love to hear from you. Let us know how you liked the show and what else you would like for us to talk about on Wed night- it is open mic night no tpoic is to small or to big( such a  play on words )
We look forward to hearing from each and every one of you.

    Where Did My Memory Go????

I know what all of you are thinking! Has she finally lost it???

Well the answer to that is No. Well, sometimes, maybe, hell I don't know. When I got up this morning and after stumbling down the hallway to make coffee I had something I needed to do- besides write this blog.

Anyway, I couldn't remember what it was that was so important for me to do. As I fumbled my way over to the coffee machine there was a note stuck to it. The note said, "Pay Insurance". Well there you go. That is what I had to do.

As I was writing the check for the insurance, I began think about what has happened to my memory. Things I want to remember like paying the insurance seem to wander off into that place in my brain reserved for unimportant stuff. I have no idea why. The things I need to forget like names of people who have ticked me off seem to stay in the front cortex of my brain.

So, I decided to ask Layla what she thought. After she finished laughing at me with her wicked and evil laugh (more of a cackle) she explained to me what happened somewhere down the road of life.

The conversation went something like this:

ME: What is wrong with me? There was a time when I could remember entire converstations.

Layla with her evil grin: But now you have me and I don't like to remember stuff that isn't fun.

ME: But bills have to be paid and things have to be done.

Layla: But fun things like thinking about how I am going to get back at  those who have pissed you off is more fun.

She is such a witch. The conversation continued for a while until I got bored or she got tired and then I figured  out the real reason for the loss of my memory.

I remembered a skit where the one and only Bill Cosby talked about this very thing. He said that as we get older our brain travels from our head to our butt. Which makes sense to me in a strange sort of way.

Any way he said we can be sitting down and remember we have to do something - we get up out of our chair walk out of  the room and into the other room to do that thing which we have remembered we have to do.

In the meantime some where between the two destinations we forget. We stand in the second room turning round and round  wondering why we are there. Finally in frustration of the act of feeling stupid we go back and sit down in our comfortable chair.

Then BAM it hits us. We remember what it was we needed to do. The key is as Bill Cosby says our brain has gone to our butt. We have to sit on it to remember things we have forgotten.

Now when one thinks about that for a while it makes perfect sense. We spend all our life thinking about all these things. The brain gets tired and wants to stop thinking. So if figures out all by itself that it will just relocate. If we can't find it then we can't use it.

No only does it re-locate but it solicites the help of our butt to hide it from us. Now while most times the butt helps out really well until we sit on it- the brain doesn't always win.

I have played Johnny Jump Up so many times when I remembered after sitting down that I had to do something that I feel like a jack in the box. Now this really pisses off the back and legs and feet who aren't very happy with me anyway. They are already in revolt and now the brain is playing games.

I have decided that if I can find a decent trade in I am trading in this body and the brain which seems to revel in losing it's memeory for a newer model. Maybe Layla will go with it. She aids and abeds when she hides things from me.

Things I know I put in a certain place and when I go back - well of all things it is not there. I know I am not losing my memory. Maybe it is just so full of information it can't handle any more input.

Or maybe it has decided to relocate. Oh before I forget join me on www.blogtalkradio.com/angellesa tonight at 8:00pm central and 9:00pm Eastern it is open mic night and I promise it will be a great show. That is if I dont' forget who I am lol
