The ECOVA project is a monetary alternative that aims at worldwide social, economic and ecological security as well as at the transition to a sustainable planetary economy, based on self-sufficiency.
The current globalised economy, which continues presenting itself as an indestructible ship, stumbles in fact from crisis to crisis (shortage of food, uncontrollable fuel prices, imminent shortage of energy, financial crises, very serious environmental problems, increasing poverty, social insecurity,…).
And whereas on the one hand we have the technological, scientific and natural capacities to solve these world problems in a relatively short period of time, on the other hand the possibility to switch over to these solutions is limited by the nature of the financial-economic system itself.
The ECOVA project has been developed to enable a full utilization of the possibilities for an effective treatment of the world problems.
The monetary alternative of the ECOVA project is based on validating the basic economy and the ecosystem, by converting the current value of both into money.
By basic economy we mean the total of all the unpaid work on which both the global society and the formal economy are supporting. That basic economy represents largely half of all the economic activity. Read further at www.ecovaproject.org
