Our special education panel will address topics such as IDEA, IEP, available resources, ESY, tips for parents and more. We have a great panel of women who have first hand experience and passion. Meet our panel: Jeanette Cordova - proud mom of one special needs child with Down syndrome and ESP advocate working with underprivileged families helping them navigate the Denver Public School system. Pam Lindemann - proud parent of two special needs children, one with Cerebral Palsy and one with a learning disability, advocate and founder of The IEP Advocate, Inc. Jennifer Falk - Director of Special Projects for Parent to Parent of Georgia a parent information source. Ann Mock - once a student in the special education system due to her learning disability but has go on to earn her bachelor degrees in Human Development, Special Education and her Masters degree in Education. The featured song, "Silent Angels," was written and song by Ayme Sanchez as a theme song for the International Rett Syndrome Associations (IRSA) awareness campaign.
