Dr. Bob Zenhausern spent the last 20 years of his research dealt with neuropsychology with a major emphasis on learning disabilities, culminating in a 10 year research program on the theory, causes, and remediation of reading disability. Dr. Bob Zenhausern received his PhD in 1969 and was an early advocate of computers for persons with disabilities and K-12 education. He taught Neuropsychology, Research, and Statistics at St. Johns University for 35 years until I retired as a Full Professor in 1998. Bob is the CEO of the Enabling Support Foundation, a non profit with a dual mission to support persons with disabilities and K-12 education. He has a particular interest in empowering students in the special education classroom. Enabling Support Foundation provides resources and services to teachers who would like to develop projects for their classes.
