  Professor Emeritus Peter Bagnolo has had an amazing life thus far. A personification of pursuing, attaining, maintaining and sustaining the IMP/Individual Maximum Potential. He is truly a Renaissance man in the fullest sense of the term: Visionary, Healer, Architectural designer, painter, sculptor, writer, novelist, intellectual, and inventor, and as a young man, athlete.

  Wednesday 3/18/2009 9:00 PM, USA MT Professor Emeritus Peter Bagnolo "has had an amazing life thus far. He is truly a Renaissance man in the fullest sense of the term: Architectural designer, painter, sculptor, writer, novelist, intellectual, inventor, healer, and as a young man, athlete.
  
  Professor Bagnolo was offered an opportunity to skip three grades in grammar school at age 8. However, his parents in their Italo-American wisdom allowed him only a one-grade skip. Otherwise he would have graduated primary school at age 10, high school at age 14, and college at age 18. Certainly a wonderful start for a wunderkind, but not for a boy or man socially.
  
  Later, he was a recipient of an Art Institute scholarship at age 11, but because of a serious bout with polio a few years before, and a relapse of muscular atrophication, his parents refused to allow him to attend classes. Despite his polio, he became a baseball player talented enough to gain try-outs and contract offers from several major league ball clubs at age 16-18. At that time, one had to be 21 years of age for a contract to be valid and his parents refused the bonus offers, preferring him to go to college instead.
  
  He became a Ford Foundation Fellowship Recipient in college, and was the first of only 12 out of 1200 accepted into a special program as a result. He later won a full tuition Talent-merit/gifted based scholarship for his figure paintings in his senior year, the first such award granted in 25 years at his university. The University credited him with a triple bachelor's degree in Painting and Drawing, Architectural/Exhibition Design and Advertising - the last they ever granted, and a minor in Cultural Anthropology (which actually qualifies as a Major). Uncertain of how to present his much faceted degree, they titled it formally: Environmental Design.
  
  Lothar Wittebourg, Director of the Field Museum Department of Exhibition Design, mentored him through the exhibition/architectural segment. His graduate architectural structural model, plans, and thesis, with Witteborg's mentoring and input. He was also responsible for a great many large scale stained glass projects, sometimes in collaboration with others, sometimes designing the color scale presentation art, sometimes doing the full-size and working drawings for the windows, sometimes choosing the many colored glass pieces for the entire window and at other times doing all of those things, depending upon his availability.

  Early in his career, he drew 110 larger than life-sized realistic charcoal figure drawings complete with buildings, back/foreground and landscaping for a mural in less than 10 days." Continued

  In this first broadcast, as THE WISE OLD COOT, seeing as I AM claiming to be The Wise Old Coot, I think I should first speak about some of the fundamental, basic and key stuff and 'thangs':) that I AM convinced that I have learned and KNOW about some of the priority matters that are crucial and critical to all humans, and other life forms - from my experiences, studies, research, inherent intuition, and inner-wisdom acquired from open thinking, observations, prayers, meditations, communications, and such - All of which I should be able to speak about directly, simply, clearly, and fearlessly. As well as give examples of from my individual human life’s work, play, accomplishments, failures and mistakes.   ‘Alrighty’ - time to ‘fess up.’ (This applies to Karl Rove, and the like, too.)

   

  I AM stepping up, first – sort of like a human prototype. YOU know, like a sample of a contemporary ‘wise elder’ - with clear vision backward and forward – spiritually, mentally and physically healthy, fit, fun, awake, aware, alert, experienced and knowledgeable. Uhm hummm…

   

  Seeing as I AM, officially with the US Government, a “Retired Senior Citizen,” it’s about time that I come on out with my current identity status. Now, that the ‘New Era’ has *officially begun phasing in, for smooth transition at the end of 2012, and on, facilitating, implementing, activating and supporting the plans and structure of the New Paradigm for the Age of Aquarius, closing out the Age of Pisces. *"Obama Starts Reversing Bush Policies"

   

  My, personally direct, now Spirit Worlds goddess, Tanisha Rasanna Dyushambee/Porter - my human biological daughter from January 9, 1981 to April 9, 2001, nicknamed me 'Old Coot,' lovingly, with her intelligently exquisite sense of humor, and her sweet and elegantly charming *Self, years ago. *"The total, essential, or particular being of a person; the individual:..."

   

  With all of the Republican Congress people voting against the Stimulus Bill, and the exceptionally well-paid, whacked out ego ignoramus, Rush Limbaugh, having broadcast to the world the statement, 'I hope Obama fails' , before requesting to be invited to The White House to present his stimulus plan, although he also for some reason said, “I’m not the leader of the Republican Party.” - there should be no doubt in anyone’s thinking that *most of the Republican Party, and Limbaugh, with their millions of followers, will do and say everything they can to sabotage, block, or at least delay any progress President Obama, and his Administrators try to lead, for the benefit of the human rights of the majority of the population, animals, plants, and the life-giving natural environment. *GOP govs break with party over stimulus

  Most support economic plan that got no Republican votes in U.S. House

   

  ALL of us who prefer  ‘for the benefit of the majority of the population, and the life-giving natural environment’ best do and say everything that We Can to not allow them to sabotage, block, or at least delay any progress. I’m betting that the unofficial and not publicly talked about general plan of the leaders of the Republican Party, in order to take over again, is first they have to tare down President Obama in every way they can think of and pull off. I call that the ‘Full-fledged resistance, with heels dug in’ - of course, it will all be cloaked as “protecting the American people.” Hey, it worked for the poster guy for ‘Doofuss’ personified, and his secrecy control freaks crew of thieves, for a full 8 years of pillaging, damaging, destroying and killing.

   

  For those of us, globally, who are exuberantly hopeful about participating in preparations and actions required for a more desirable future, we should always BEWARE of the abundance of hate filled people. Hatred is an ignorant Hell of a state of individual conscious awareness and knowledge, and thrives on perpetuating confusion and discontent, and spreading misery to the majority.

   

  Soooo, in keeping with Mahatma Gandhi’s statement ''YOUR little part may seem insignificant but, It's absolutely crucial that YOU Do It.'' IT All Adds UP I AM now, officially, claiming to be The Wise Old Coot - with Death as my ally - 'branging' everything I got and gittin,' I AM restarting our YOUtopia INstitute Internet Talk Radio show on Blog Talk Radio, under the new title THE WISE OLD COOT & the REAL THANGS SHOW, from the overall perspective of ancestral coalescence, with present and future human conscious awareness, ALL things considered - talking about how this, that and the other relates to the other, that and this, at this particular point in time - from the past and on into the future... *Aesthetic sensibilities, Arts, Music, Cultures, Sexuality, Spirituality, Religions, Sciences, Extraterrestrial Relatives, Politics, History, Education, YOU name it... *[ the philosophical study of beauty and taste.   Sifu Gary: "I currently have 18 years in the martial arts. I began breaking away from tradition after the 1st 9 years.  My foundation in the martial arts is Shotokan, Kickboxing, Wing Chun, San Shou Chinese Wrestling, Thai Boxing, JKD-Bruce Lee's fighting method, and Jui Jitsu.  One day after building a training dummy I simply began to create as I created I wrote as I wrote I tested what I was creating by demonstration, and sparring weeks became months and months became years.  I knew that what I had was very formidable.  
  
  Before I Knew it 7 years had passed and I had an original 7 phase self defense system covering all phases of fighting in a binder about 4 inches thick with a class of eager and very proficient students.  Moreover for a 6-year period I also devoted myself to the study of the Bible, development, psychology, philosophy, and an intense amount of focus on spiritual (biblical) wisdom.
  
  Throughout this 6-year period (because of the friends in my life at the time and my close relationship with GOD) I was able to devote myself to Celibacy.  I let go of many non-essential things, which gave me a mental and spiritual perspective that allows me now to be nearly immune to trends, styles, fads, and other material manipulation.  I learned the most valuable lessons of my life during this period. The 1st is that there is one GOD (the almighty) and only one way to achieve a relationship with him and that is through his son.  The 2nd is fighting against a physical opponent is easy as in a tournament or competition. However the unseen is quite a different animal.  I find the words of Aristotle appropriate when he said "I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies, for the hardest victory is the victory over self." This concept is extremely evident throughout the bible especially in Eph. 6:10.  
  
  To sum it all up, martial arts have taken on a very profound meaning to me. My self defense system in particular. The intense studying, the repetition of kicks, punches, combinations, blocks, take downs, sparring, meditation, and various other training sessions all have become my outer expression of the inner battle. The precision, explosiveness, and thoroughness of the technique outwardly should mirror what's within. My most advanced students begin to recognize these things without me even mentioning GOD or the bible it's really remarkable what GOD has done through me, the word utensil comes to mind."
