Call in to speak with the host
Tonight on You Served Radio we'll welcome country music star Steve Azar and CSM Les Chapman.
Our first guest is country singer Steve Azar to talk about raising funds for military charity through his song "The Soldier Song." A Mississippi native, Steve Azar's hits include: “I Don't Have to Be Me ('Til Monday)," which was one of the most played country songs of the last decade, "Waitin' On Joe," and "Sunshine," to name a few. He was personally chosen by Bob Seger to open his 2007 U.S. tour which was ranked by Pollstar Magazine as the #1 tour in America that year. His music has recently been featured in Oprah Winfrey's O magazine and his current album, "Delta Soul Volume One," is getting rave reviews in Blues and Roots editorials such as "Hittin' the Note" and "Living Blues." Each year Azar is an invited guest at many of the top charity golf events including the Murray Bros. Caddyshack tournament, the Bob Hope Desert Classic and Monday after the Masters.
During the second hour we'll talk with CSM Les Chapman. CSM Chapman is the auorth of the book Secret Storeis of the 2nd Army. He was also the youngest soldier ever admitted into Special Forces without prior military experience.
It's good to talk.
