Tonight is a speclial discussion for everyone. Butterfly Dreams Talk Radio is discussing - 'Helping a friend in Relationship/Domestic Violence'. Please join in as we share thoughts & ideas about how to best encourage a victim in danger to protect themselves and their children from the trauma of violence around them or towards them.

Our show kicks off at 9pm eastern/ 8pm central/ 6pm pacific time. The phone lines and chatroom will be open for all of your input. You are invited to give us a call at 347-215-7754 to listen or chat live. You can also listen through any mobile device by simply clicking this link.

Have you ever had a friend who you knew was in a dangerous, controlling, or emotionally destructive relationship or marriage? There are so many things you want to TELL them they need to do, but we all know in the end we CANNOT MAKE them do anything. They must be the person who finally makes the choice, THEY ARE DONE!!

There are many ways however in which you can help them cope so that they have peace within to make the best decision. The most important of these is simply be a LISTENING EAR WITHOUT JUDGMENT. Victims, no matter what gender or how old, are shameful they have allowed such a mess to grow and interfere with the lives of those around them. I know from personal experience. However, it is when we turn away or judge them that creates the most damage.

Tonight let's find out how we can all be a friend for a victim of Relationship Violence. This show is a community outreach broadcast of Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery and in no way constitutes any form of professional psychiatric or therapeutic services. Thank you and we hope you will invite just one friend, maybe even that friend, to join us for another excellent discussion.
