  Honor Flight Memorial Ride Helps Send Veterans to the World War II Memorial

  In today’s world time passes on very quickly and past accomplishments fall by the way side and are forgotten. There is no other generation that has given more to their country then our World War II Veterans. Known as our greatest generation, the USA has finally built a monument dedicated to their honor in Washington DC: The World War II Memorial. Many of these great veterans have already passed on and there is nothing we can do for them, but we can say thank you for your sacrifice and send those remaining that are able to go to visit this great memorial for free from a grateful nation. Carolina Honda Powerhouse, a Honda super store in Columbia, SC, is sponsoring a Honor Flight Memorial Ride to raise funds for the Honor Flight organization. Jim Wertmann is a 30 year Army Veteran and General Manager of Carolina Honda. He is here to provide us with more details about the Honor Flight Memorial Ride.

She will also talk about the side group started by Operation Gratitude Jewish volunteers -- Project MOT, which sends Jewish holiday care packages.

  Eldonnal Lewis Fernandez is the author of HEART OF A MILITARY WOMAN and she will be here to discuss her upcoming book. Eldonna is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant with 23 years of honorable military service. She deployed in support of operatin Enduring Freedom after 911. She is affectionately known as the Pink Biker Chic and helps women to eliminate self doubt and be the girlie girl in charge. She's a single mom of two teenagers and is co authoring the upcoming book Heart of a Military Woman.
