D. L. Shiloh Discuss His New Psychological, Parnormal Thriller POOKOO!

D.L. Shiloh has been an educator, a small-town sports editor, a proofreader, a custodian, and even a restaurant mascot. His father was a manufacturing engineer and his mother a telephone operator, and he has one sister and one brother, with a younger sister dying at birth when D.L. was six years old. He attended eight public schools in four states (Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Connecticut), graduating from Enrico Fermi High School in Enfield, Connecticut, and from Rock Valley College, and attended Middlebury College's Bread Loaf Writers' Conference as a Manuscript Contributor. While working as a proofreader in Chicago in 1990, D.L. was hospitalized for meningitis and experienced what may be termed as a near death experience. POOKOO was soon started afterwards. Beginning in 1995 Shiloh began producing content on the Internet, first with a Centerstage chat event on AOL with Nagasaki co-pilot Lt. Fred Olivi. Other events included one on the 70th anniversary of Harry Houdini's death. He co-founded the folk-rock band SINGED. He competed in track and field through high school, earning a spot on the East High School Wall of Fame, and in the year 2000 won silver medals at the Prairie State Games in the shot put and discus. In 2008 he was inducted into the Roscoe Rush semi pro football Hall of Fame for his Public relations work, and currently hosts a football show on Comcast 57 (Rockford). POOKOO, a satire about Celebrity, is his first novel. He lives in the very far northwest suburbs of Chicago with his wife and two sons and is currently working on a second novel about mid-life crisis titled THE PILGRIM COMMUTER.
