Your Claremont Radio Show - Reading Local News Daily

ATTENTION: We will resume the radio show on Sept 15, 2009. On July 10, 2009 the local newspaper in Claremont, NH closed its doors. After providing daily local news to Claremont, NH and the surrounding areas for 185 years, its closing left a hole in this community’s spirit. People missed their news. On July 15, 2009 YourClaremontPress.com launched as the only daily local news source for Claremont, NH and the surrounding areas. The founder, Nancy Brown, understood that there was still a void because many elderly citizens and others did not have Internet access. Thus, Your Claremont Radio was born. Volunteers read the news every day to the citizens who call in to listen to the show. Anyone can listen to the news being read simply by dialing the call-in number, 718-766-4123. No computer is needed to listen to the show. All of the shows are archived and can be accessed to listen at any time on our host page, YourClaremontRadio.com.
