McKinzie, MSW, LCSW has served as Executive Director of MDS Counseling Center since 1997. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 23 years experience in organization management. She developed her organizational management skills through management positions held at McKinzie Enterprises, a family owned business operating several retail supermarkets in Overland Park Kansas. Linda recognized quickly that the skills of running a small business were quite transferable to directing a non-profit agency. MDS Counseling Center has been formed out of the understanding that people need access to counseling regardless of their ability to pay. They are committed to serving others with enthusiasm, empathy and humility as they assist in creating a place of peace, love and harmony within others, ourselves and our community.
