YBP was founded by friends Matthew J and Wyatt McIntyre. Your Book Promoter� believes that independent authors should have a way to gain publicity for their works. With this in mind, we realize that most independent, self-published authors may not have the resources or the time that professional authors do. We provide a variety of methods of promotion at affordable rates for such writers. Virtual Book Tour© We believe that one of the best methods of promotion is radio. Due to the lack of interest in non-professional authors in mainstream radio, we turn to the internet. BlogTalkRadio.com is a fast growing, widely popular internet radio site. Through interviews with internet radio hosts, authors essentially take part in a "Virtual Book Tour©". We book the author for interviews on several radio programs and take care of providing the show hosts with needed information about the author and book ahead of time. Video sharing sites Video sharing sites such as YouTube.com are quickly becoming one of the best ways to gain public attention. Think of it as free advertising.
