Join us on Your15Minutes Radio as we celebrate Black Music Month with our special guest Delfeayo Marsalis and Yancy

The Marsalis Family was recently honored by the NEA Jazz Masters http://www.theroot.com/buzz/marsalis-family-first-group-honored-nea-jazz-masters

Delfeayo’s new album is entitled "Sweet Thunder: Duke and Shak" – it’s a beautiful collaboration of poetry and jazz at its best. Inspired by Duke Ellington & William Shakespeare.  Referred to as The Liberation of Jazz Soliloquy: Shakespeare & Ellington’s Collaboration of Harmonious Thunder.

Soulful jazz saxophonist Yancyy has done it. This album reflects his 25 years of playing know-how and shows what working with Grammy Award-winning producer Phil Davis can accomplish. City to City, State by State, this album generates excitement, uplifts its listeners and receives a standing ovation.

The resulting style is authentic, rich, highly polished, melodic, and a great addition to the libraries of jazz aficionados.
