What do you/we really know about the history of Congo and the conflict there that has taken many millions of lives since the 1990s? What are the dirty little secrets that the Western Mainstream Corporate Media purposely refuse to tell us about? Why do they refuse to tell us about them? Congo’s mineral resources are worth Trillions of dollars but the vast majority of Congo’s citizens live on less than a dollar a day. Why? Who is robbing Congo and its people? Who are the major players that continue to plunder Congo and fuel rebel groups with weapons and cash for military arms? How can you/we help stop these crimes? All of those questions and more will be discussed on Tuesday’s (June 23, 2009) episode of Your World News! Kambale Musavuli of Friends of the Congo (www.friendsofthecongo.org) will be joining us for an informative conversation surrounding all things relating to Congo.
