Your Place

Our show is for everybody to have a place that they can call their own to discuss real life issues. The concept is not to brain wash people but to allow people to hear other opinions on issues and make up their own mind. In other words...get people to think! We will step into issues like politics and religion, student athletes, lost loved ones, supplements, and multi level marketing to name a few. We are open to expand topics requested for future shows because this is your place where your voice is important.

Nobody accepted my Challange last week. Maybe they will this week

Last week we put out the challenge for anybody that wanted to call their preachers or DJ of a gospel radio show are station.  They were invited to come to our show and explain why they use gospel radio as a platform to discuss politics.

They are still invited to come this next week but if not we will talk to anybody that has a lot of emotions regarding the politics of the day. To be more specific the health care reform, Clinton going to Korea, and those that do not believe that our President is an American Citizen.

We had some great callers last week that like many of us has a problem with abortion but like many people the facts that was presented was based on speculation but has been presented as of late to the public as fact.  This one topic and the curse of what it represents to our country is one that I wish we could come up with an answer to. The fact is that the health care bill as I have read it so far has no impact on this curse that is a way of life in our country.

I threw out at the end of our show that people needed to look up what political party was influential in the start of planned parenthood.  I wish I could claim this tidbit as one I discovered on our own but we have a friend who works as a political lobby.  She brought this out to my attention.  She gets to hear conversations of our leaders that we the public do not get to hear.  The real agenda that plays away from the speeches we hear is unreal.

We are working to get some representatives from each party to speak on our show regarding these topics.  Remember that Joy has control of the board and she gets just as emotional as anybody when speculation is brought up as fact.  I think everybody is so emotional due to the fact that there is a lot of fear.   The Prayer that Joy shared last week and I have asked her to bring to the next show again is a good place for all of us to take the time to look at ourselves.  Last week the song was Dust in the Wind.  I think we forget that our part in all of this is that we started from dust and dust we will return to again.

I am looking for some great discussion on this topic this next show.  Please try to state facts as facts and not speculation as facts.  Unlike other shows we are not pushing either political agenda and so you cannot make us happy by using speculation to make points.  On this show it is your place to share your opinion based on what ever you want to base it on.  As always my main view is going to be how this effects the people of faith. But our show is not only limited to those who are call themselves Christians.
