I started eating vegan because I discovered I had diabetes and my blood sugar was 495. I researched and found out vegan diet was very helpful in reducing the blood sugar levels. That's when all 3 of us began having tremendous results. We have based our eating on his "diet" which is a diet only in the sense of the first meaning of the word "The kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats"
