Charmaine welcomes Karen Henrich to the show.

Karen will discuss the 12 (Fixable) Mistakes Authors Make That Hurt Sales.  Karen Henrich is a best-selling Amazon author, and her first iTunes app has been featured prominently by Apple. Her self-publishing journey started in 2009 after pestering her Parisian publisher as to when her guidebook would go digital. Eventually this disappointing response came in: "Sorry, I haven't got a clue how to do this." So she took her book back!  Armed with strong coffee and a tech/marketing/PR background, she started her own publishing imprint (TapBooksPublishing.com) and mastered the complexities of digital publishing. Her goal now is to help as many authors as possible to self-publish successfully right out of the gate, and increase their digital content net worth. PRACTICAL PARIS: Everything You Need to Know About Paris But Didn't Know To Ask has consistently been in the Top 100 in its niche and several best-seller categories since 2010. She also authored Toby The Pet Therapy Dog & His Hospital Friends, GPS Your Best Life and Toby Says Be a Buddy Not a Bully.  She has developed a program for authors, Your Book As a Business, where she shares her learnings, lessons and success about the business of books.  Website:  http://www.howtosellandmarketyourbook.com
