Charmaine welcomes Natasha Deen to the show today.

Natasha Deen graduated from the University of Alberta with a B.A. in psychology, and has held a variety of jobs, from cleaning hotel rooms to selling vacuum cleaners.  An advocate for vulnerable groups, she’s worked with the Alberta provincial government as well as with non-profit agencies dedicated to helping marginalized and vulnerable populations.  Her novel, Ethan’s Chase, was nominated for a 2008 CAPA Award for excellence in romance and her novella, What Happens in Vegas won the 2012 International Digital Book Award for short suspense.  Natasha is a co-founder of the Edmonton Writers Group and the 2013 Regional Writer in Residence for Edmonton, Alberta. When she’s not working on her manuscripts or teaching writing workshops, she enjoys eating copious amounts of chocolate and wrestling her furry children for possession of the warm spot on the couch.
