Charmaine welcomes Stacy Nelson to the show today.

Stacy is an Art Director, Decorator and Budget Design Specialist for television, film, and special events.  She is the author of 10 On-Set Secrets, style guide series, fast, affordable decorating and easy entertaining.  Stacy has been known as the decorating TRASH LASSIE for over 18 years for her ability to deliver exceptional decorations by using low cost materials, which looked to others to be boxes of trash.  On set she is referred to as the “Master of Faster” and the “Savant of Style".

In 2004 Stacy left entertainment to devote life to her aging parents.  During those days as a caretaker she learned firsthand the struggles of families who wish to create special celebrations and remembrances for loved ones, but are bound by lack of money, time restraints, and resources. In 2008 Stacy returned to her career as an Art Director and Production Stylist and started the TRASH LASSIES with three goals in mind; to demonstrate to viewers at home on-set secret short cuts to home decorating, party planning, and holiday celebrations, to educate others on how to save money yet still deliver exceptional results, and to provide SPIRIT LIFTS, free makeovers for those in need by salvaging and re-purposing production scenery, props, and building materials.   Website:   www.trashlassies.com

Host Charmaine Hammond is the author of On Toby's Terms (Bettie Youngs Books) which is being turned into a major motion picture (see www.ontobysterms.com). She also authored Toby The Pet Therapy Dog & His Hospital Friends, GPS Your Best Life and Toby Says Be a Buddy Not a Bully.  She has developed a program for authors, Your Book As a Business, where she shares her learnings, lessons and success about the business of books.  Website:  http://www.howtosellandmarketyourbook.com
