Hi Apostle LeeAnn! Thanks for the add here my friend. I seem to have acquired a few 'hats' and 'handles' lately with the emergent PACM Inc. Streams- and this one is with ICCC-PACM Chaplaincy- worldwide. We have now got several hundred recruits in countries and still it is being developed. EL CONSEJERO CRISTIANO El ser consejero no es un titulo que se obtiene, es un llamado de Dios que se recibe. El Espíritu Santo es el que te capacita para la obra misionera del campo de la salud mental. El Señor Jesús dijo: "Los sanos no tienen necesidad de médico sino los enfermos. Id pues, y aprended lo que significa: Misericordia quiero, y no sacrificio. Porque no he venido a llamar a justos sino a pecadores al arrepentimiento." Mateo 9:12-13 Es claro que el consejero cristiano va ha ministrar a una persona enferma. En el área de salud mental y/o psiquiatría hay un frase que se están utilizando demasiado "condición hereditaria," junto con una palabra muy común para ellos "predisposición." La palabra dice que las maldiciones se pueden pasar hasta la cuarta generación. La Biblia también nos dice que todos tenemos predisposición pues "por uno todos somos pecadores." Entonces cual es el trabajo del terapeuta cristiano. Primero el terapeuta cristiano es un "instrumento" de la misericordia de Dios que entiende que el cliente tiene una enfermedad y que esa enfermedad se llama "mentira." Segundo el terapeuta cristiano "identifica" la mentira a través del don del discernimiento bajo la dirección del Espíritu Santo. Tercero el terapeuta cristiano "presenta" la verdad que el Espíritu Santo y su palabra ofrecen. Es Dios el que sana no el consejero, no los medicamentos. Los profesionales de la salud mental cristianos están concientes de esto. Pero, ¿por que unos sana y otros no? Cada caso es diferente algunas veces por no decir siempre es por que todavía hay mentira o pecado oculto y reprimido.
