New Leadership Takes Helm of Florida League of Women Voters Declares State of Florida in crisis, prepares to lead charge for more accountable government The new leader of the League of Women Voters of Florida is taking aim in Tallahassee for a more accountable government. Deirdre Macnab, of Winter Park, is now preparing members across Florida for battle pushing for a statewide referendum to end gerrymandering. Macnab, a Graduate with an MBA from Columbia University, and a BA from New York University, says, "Florida is in crisis Yo Soy Latino will also be speaking with Raul Sanchez, Cuban-born writer and author of the acclaimed novel America Libre and House Divided Sanchez, who had a successful career in advertising that included founding an ad agency with offices in Ohio and California, also developing a documentary for public television, Two Americas: The Legacy of our Hemisphere and also creating MyIimmigrationStory.com — an online forum for the U.S. immigrant community.
