I know firsthand about healing from the trauma of being victimized, and it’s my intent to teach others what I’ve learned so they can empower their lives. Mine is not your typical self-help book; it’s an inspiring hope filled story of healing, and forgiveness.

A Conversation with Publisher Tracy Ertl

Tracy C. Ertl is a former Green Bay Press-Gazette police reporter and currently dispatches police officers and firefighters throughout Titletown. Ertl was named 2004 Brown County Telecommunicator of the Year, another high point in her career that started 16 years ago with the Green Bay Police Department. Brown County Public Safety Communications is her employer since Green Bay merged into a joint operation. As a life-long crime chaser, Ertl began her writing career as a crime reporter and was managing editor of "Lifestyle" magazine in the Fox Valley. She is an award winning author, most recently taking third place nationwide in the 2005 National Shooting Sports Foundation's writing contest. Tracy Ertl was a journalist for many years before she became a 911 dispatcher. TitleTown Publishing is the merging of both passions! Tracy loves being a publisher. A book has the ability to penetrate both the heart and the mind simultaneously and she considers it an honor and a responsibility to be able to impact people so deeply. Tracy has a blog with Psychology Today called "Riding the Alligator - Dispatches from the Front Lines of Law and Life". She will be submitting another one shortly on the psychology of skydiving and how such an activity can sometimes contribute to the healing of a crime survivor. About TitleTown Publishing Our coming confirmed titles include: When the Easter Bunny is Naked (One pedophile. A mother and a daughter. Breaking the silence) ALONE (Orphaned in the Ocean); HARRY - A Teenage Mass Murderer; Citizen Spy (mafia infiltration and a conspiracy theory on who killed Pope John Paul I); and Can A Serial Killer's Soul Be Saved (a Jeffrey Dahmer book). 2011 will bring a missing persons series as well as an arson series. TitleTown Publishing now accepts unsolicited submissions in the genres of non-fiction, true crime and inspirational. tracy.ertl@titletownpublishing.com.

    A Conversation with Lynda Drews

Run at Destruction contains a Reading Group Guide and is unique. It's the only book categorized in these two ways: True Crime and Sports/Running. Anne Rule, the best-selling true crime author of The Stranger Beside Me, Small Sacrifices, and Mortal Danger said Lynda's book is: "Wonderfully written. A must for true-crime readers." Sean Hartnett, correspondent for Track & Field News said: "Run at Destruction is riveting and compelling... the 2009 runner's read!" While Publisher's Weekly said: "this title... relies on the strong bond between author and victim for emotional weight; passages about their shared moments, and Drews's feelings of emptiness in the decades since, are remarkable." Lynda Drews, a Wisconsin native, recently gave the commencement speech at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, her college Alma mater. One lesson she shared with the graduates was: “to journal your life.” When Lynda, a marketing executive, made the decision to retire after her thirty-year career, she returned to an earlier passion. Run at Destruction is the outcome. Lynda and her husband, Jim, a retired guidance counselor and an accomplished runner, have two sons, Collin and Chris, and a golden retriever named Bailey. The family has lived in Green Bay since the mid-seventies and helped launch the local running movement. The city now hosts the nation’s fifth largest 10K, the Bellin Run. Runners, A Murder, A Love Triangle -- Run At Detrustion -- has it all!

There's a love triangle between three teachers/runners, a suspicious bathtub drowning, and a small-town community rattled by speculation. But rather than an intriguing work of fiction, the events in Run at Destruction: A True Fatal Love Triangle really happened and they happened to the author's best friend. On November 12 at 9:00 PM EST, long-time runner and book author, Lynda Drews, will be interviewed about her new non-fiction, true-crime book.

Run at Destruction contains a Reading Group Guide and is unique. It's the only book categorized in these two ways: True Crime and Sports/Running. A Conversation with Frank Bittinger

Frank Bittinger says I am a writer, a novelist. I write in the Gothic horror tradition, dark and moody; someone once complimented me by saying my second book is "Sleek, sinister, and seductive." I've also been told I am a cross between Clive Barker and Anne Rice. A compliment, indeed. Angels of the Seventh Dawn, released in 2007, is about vampires, wereanimals, a series of mutilation murders, and magic. And there are a few sex scenes in the novel, so it may cause some of you to overheat a bit.
