Break The Cycle

Please join me every Thursday at 12:00 Noon (EST) at www.blogtalkradio.com/marymoon and step out into your Last Miracle Mile! Listen, as I read to you from The Last Miracle Mile and share with you what I’ve learned about the trauma of victimization. I know firsthand about healing from the trauma of being victimized, and it’s my intent to teach others what I’ve learned so they can empower their lives. Mine is not your typical self-help book; it’s an inspiring hope filled story of healing, and forgiveness.

I am happy to announce that Mike Lombardo producer/ director of Reel Splatter Productions will be my first official guest on Renee’s Book Talk on April 30, 2009 @ 9:30 PM. Mike just finished writing a short story titled Play Place. It is an interesting tale of dreams, nightmares, life, death, fast food, starvation, and ZOMBIES! Mike has promised to post it online and when he does, run – do not walk to the site and give it a good read! It is beyond excellent!
On the REEL SPLATTER website Mike, excuse me Dr. Chud writes: “Have you wondered what it would be like to watch "Womb For Two,” "Demonstration of The Dead,” and "Skyler Phalanges: Zombie Hunter" on the big screen? Well, now you find out! They'll be screening at the Lancaster Area Film Festival (LAFF) on May 2nd! Not only that, but after several blood sacrifices to the dark gods (Special shout out to Cthulhu and Dagon; we love you guys! Ry'ghezengro forever baby!) I was able to get put on the Judges Panel! So folks, it looks like Reel Splatter Productions is going to the movies! Come hang out with us and watch some great flicks! The Reel Splatter crew will be there in full force selling t-shirts and such too, so start saving your pennies! Mike Lombardo runs Reel Splatter Productions. Reel Splatter is an indie film troupe based in East Petersburg, Pennsylvania. He makes splatter/comedy short films. He says his tagline “Putting the laughter back in slaughter” is the best way to describe his stuff. It’s not straight horror (they don’t do scary). But he says it is violent comedy. Mike was working on “Womb For Two” last time we spoke, so check it out along with all his work at www.ReelSplatter.com – YouTube – and MySpace. Join me the night of April 30, 2009 at 9:30 PM EST for a discussion with a young writer and filmmaker. Call in with your questions for the zombie master of all time! Okay folks I’ve been away for a long time. However, spring is here and I’m finally coming out of hibernation. As a way of breaking the ice and getting back into the real world, I will begin Renee’s Book Talk once again.
My first show is Thursday, April 23 at 9:00 PM EST. This show will be an open discussion on writing, publishing and simply an opportunity to find out what we have all been doing. I hope you will join me and let the world know what you are up to, what new books you’re working on, or what books you have coming out this year – or other projects!
I would also like to hear from you about some of your greatest lessons learned.
I’m hoping Walt Honsinger will stop by to discuss his novel The Cabin, and the new book he has coming out this year called Blue Oceans Peace.
You will decide the conversation.
So drop by – and remember if you call in to talk or ask a question hit the one key on your phone so I can see your number on the switchboard and can open the microphone. This is a new option at BTR.

Future shows: April 30, 2009 @ 9:30 PM EST -- Mike Lombardo, Producer of Reel Splatter Films
