Please join me every Thursday at 12:00 Noon (EST) at www.blogtalkradio.com/marymoon and step out into your Last Miracle Mile! Listen, as I read to you from The Last Miracle Mile and share with you what I’ve learned about the trauma of victimization. I know firsthand about healing from the trauma of being victimized, and it’s my intent to teach others what I’ve learned so they can empower their lives. Mine is not your typical self-help book; it’s an inspiring hope filled story of healing, and forgiveness.

In an effort for Renee’s Book Talk to offer a voice to all artists we are highlighting a very interesting individual on July 31, 2008 @ 10:00 PM ED film producer and director Mike Lombardo!
Mike Lombardo is 21 years old and runs Reel Splatter Productions, an indie film troupe based in East Petersburg, Pennsylvania. He makes splatter/comedy short films. Their tagline “Putting the laughter back in slaughter” is the best way to describe his work. It’s not straight horror (they don’t do scary), but it’s more akin to very bizarre and violent comedy. Mike is the writer/director/FX artist for all the movies. He’s been at it for six years and has no film school experience or formal training – he is completely self-taught. You can check out short films at www.ReelSplatter.com – YouTube – and MySpace as well. His films have been becoming quite popular online as of late with one project, a zombie themed commercial for an arcade game store getting over 18,000 hits on YouTube alone. Their most recent short “Demonstration of The Dead” features a cameo by Bram Stoker award winning author Brian Keene and made it’s way into the semi-finals of a short film competition run by Night of The Living Dead director George A. Romero.
Join me the night of July 31, 2008 at 10:00 PM EDT for a discussion with a young film maker and his plans for the future – you never know maybe something you wrote will inspire this filmmaker to produce your work!

RENÉE’S BOOK TALK
Romance Novelist Ashley Ladd
Renee’s Book Talk is honored to welcome Ashley Ladd romance novelist and fantasy author. The goal for my show has always been to give the author/artist a voice. Marketing books is one of the hardest parts of being an author – and it seems to be something that the publisher forgets to tell an author until after the book is published. When in reality the author should be thinking of the marketing process almost the entire time they are in the process of creating their work.
On, July 24, 2008 at 10:00 PM EDT – our guest is romance novelist Ashley Ladd. Ashley is a very creative individual and began her journey at sixteen when she set a goal for herself and has achieved it – She now lives in what she calls paradise – South Florida. For the past twenty years she has lived her dream and written her books.
Books such as Sweet & Sticky (American Beauty) published by Ellora’s Cave -- Liquid Heat published with Total-e-Bound Bound Brits ( Best Mates ) published with Total-e-Bound and Wild Fantasies – published with Total-e-Bound.
Ashley holds monthly contests at http://www.ashleyladd.blogspot.com/ and would love it if you stopped by her website to get the scoop on all her upcoming releases and new books at http://www.ashleyladd.com – you can also reach her via her e-mail address Chinara@aol.com , or visit her on MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/ashleyladdromancewriter .
Please join me tonight to discuss Ashley’s journey to publication and her insights on how to make your dreams come true! Maybe in the bedroom as well as in the Publishing House!!!
