I began drinking mate over 5 years ago and I can't remember the last time I had a cold or the flu. I do not get flu shots nor do I intend to. I am not sure that I can attribute my exceptional health to my mate consumption, but at 4-5 cups per day, this is the only thing I do consistently. The Pasteur Institute conducted a study many years ago and concluded that it would be very difficult to find any plant in the world that could surpass mate in nutritional value, but could it be the ultimate immune booster? Well, all I know is that I used to get sick a lot and now I don't. It's green, it gives me energy, it has 196 nutrients, it keeps me lean, it keeps me healthy and it makes me feel good. Now, if it could just make me rich! If you start drinking mate now, you might save yourself a lot of sick leave and doctor visits this winter. It works for me!
