Can there be any REAL reparations for the Atlantic trading in enslaved Africans? If the enslaved Africans lost more than economic autonomy, why is reparations always framed in economic terms? Who exactly should be paying the reparations and who should be the beneficiaries? Shouldn't we at least wait until slavery is completely eradicated globally before we calculate the bill? And, isn't it time we moved past this particular scourge in history?

The team of Yardie Skeptics addresses the reparations matter in this episode. How should the razor of skepticism and critical thinking be applied in this issue - surgically? Or is it time for hack and slashing? Our special guest in studio will be Prof. Verene Shepherd of the University of the West Indies and Chair of the Reparations Commission set up to interrogate the issue. Tune in and share your views on this controversial topic or just pass through to check out our resistance and liberation playlist with musical bombs from Marley, Tosh, and Burning Spear.
