What's the deal with "moderate" Christians? They distance themselves from the conservatives by claiming that they're not ideologically driven and instead support liberalism, but enable the fundamentalists by either keeping silent or failing to push back against Christian hegemony. You will never see them engage in acts of public buffoonery such as "love marches", but they hardly command any consistent intellectual real estate in public or social media. So, what is really the purpose behind calling oneself a moderate Christian? Do they only "moderately" support the batshit crazy ideas of the Christian left, or are they entirely secularists in their ideological outlook?

On this episode we turn the spotlight on the moderate/progressive Christians. Joining us live Natalie Bennett who describes herself as a Christian but one who does not support all of the ideas, Sharon Stephenson who is a moderate Christian, and Postmodernnegro, who describes himself as a "Christian anarchist."
