Is there a connection between skepticism, critical thinking, and economic development? Can Jamaica pray its way out of economic stagnation? How does religion/superstition enhance or hinder economic progress, and what is the overall cost of religion?

The minds behind Yardie Skeptics Radio investigate the relationship between economic development and critical thinking. We'll be joined by Andre Hind, former senior negotiator at the National Worker's Union (NWU) and business co-owner, and Zay Green, educator and feminist, who has researched the economic toll of religion on the black community. Special appearance by Shirley Fletcher, applied behavioural specialist, who will be discussing her new book "The Dance of Difference: The New Frontier of Sexual Orientation"
