Jesus expresses a few things to us.
In the Kingdom, many of the wicked who repent will be judges of some of the "spiritual" ones we tend to look up to.
He considers those who are His disciples (followers), to be HIs family members, more so than His earthly family members.
When we receive the seed (the word of the Kingdom) sown into us, are we standing in the good soil, are we the good soil? If so, we will understand the seed, and that means we will produce fruit because of it. We will be doing the works He expects of us, not sitting back waiting for God to do everything.
So that's the question we each need to ask ourselves. Am I good soil?
